I have completed the digitization of my cassette tape. I believe I should have started with the cassette in the first place instead of jumping from earbuds to cassette. I ended up switching because of a diminishing will to see the project through. I did learn much about cassettes, and now I have a, for the most part, accurate model of a cassette that I can use for 3d printing and experiments with tapes & tape loops. If I were to do this project again, I would start with picking objects that would be definitely useful for me to digitize. So that I'm not left chasing an abstract goal of completion for the sake of technical practice.
